1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ProposalForge ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ProposalForge is an AI-powered tool that generates professional project proposals for freelancers and agencies. Users provide business and project information through a guided wizard, and the Service generates customized proposal content using artificial intelligence.

3. Account Terms

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
  • One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.

4. Payment Terms

Free Tier: You may generate and preview proposals for free. Free previews include a watermark and cannot be downloaded as clean PDFs.

Single Unlock ($4.99): One-time payment to unlock and download a single proposal as a clean PDF.

Monthly Pro ($14.99/month): Recurring monthly subscription for unlimited proposal downloads.

Yearly Pro ($34.99/year): Recurring annual subscription for unlimited proposal downloads.

All payments are processed by Stripe. Subscription payments are charged automatically at the beginning of each billing period. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Stripe customer portal, and you will retain access until the end of your current billing period.

Refunds: Single unlock purchases are non-refundable once the PDF has been downloaded. Subscription refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of purchase. Contact support@proposalforge.app for refund requests.

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Proposals generated by ProposalForge are created using artificial intelligence and should be treated as a starting point, not a final document.

You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all content before sending it to a client. ProposalForge does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or legal enforceability of any generated content — particularly the Terms & Conditions section.

We strongly recommend having important contracts reviewed by a qualified legal professional before execution. ProposalForge is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive proposals
  • Impersonate another person or organization in generated content
  • Attempt to circumvent payment or access restrictions
  • Use automated means to access the Service beyond normal usage patterns
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

7. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain ownership of all information you input into the Service. The proposals generated from your inputs are yours to use as you see fit.

Our Service: The ProposalForge service, including its design, code, AI prompts, and branding, is owned by ProposalForge and protected by intellectual property laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

ProposalForge is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated proposals will meet your specific requirements.

In no event shall ProposalForge be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting a notice on the website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
